ARCHITECTURAL BUILDING DESIGN

From single to multi-residential constructs, our Architectural Building Design service encompasses an integrated framework that will provide the full support required to successfully complete your project. Our framework incorporates the following:

• Designs based on client brief and direction

• Preparation of preliminary sketch design drawings, including detailed 3D models, to easily depict materials and finishes

• Preparation of plans including elevations and sections together with construction details and specifications, suitable for calling of tenders or pricing by preferred builder/trades

• Co-ordinate and integrate the work of consultants with architectural drawings

• Compilation of documents for building approval and planning approval if required

INTERIOR DESIGN

Our interior design component has expanded immensely and we have engaged in projects across the residential, commercial, hospitality and retail sectors. We have adopted many years of experience in working collaboratively with our clients and other stakeholders to unpack design and consumer trends together with our clients’ wants and needs.

Once we have conceptualised a design that allows our clients to understand, feel and distinguish what it is we are creating with them, we then establish a plan to develop and execute what our clients envision to achieve. Our expertise in interior trends, analysing space and custom joinery across many domains will assure true quality in what we deliver for you. Our aim is to leverage our experience and knowledge to create a personalised design concept. We are very ‘hands-on’ in order to provide you with adequate support every step of the way.

3D MODELLING

We recognise that 3D models serve a great purpose in making our designs come to life. We have extensive experience in working with unique programs that can turn a 2D design into a 3D model. Our 3D models are very useful to evaluate design concept, interior detailing, and quoting manufacturing costs and can be used to create custom-built joinery for your residential or commercial space. These images are also largely used as a prototype of what your finished project will look like at its conclusion.

This can be used as a selling tool for your property as a developer or business. Our 3D models can be animated or even used as an interactive tool allowing our clients (or potential customers) to interact with the product model by walking through it and having a good idea of every design aspect incorporated, such as, inspecting textures, materials, space, colours, renders, final fixtures etc. Our aim is to work very closely with you to create a 3D model that will meet your requirements of what you wish to achieve in undergoing a project.

ENGINEERING

Our in-house engineer works primarily as one of our consultants who is involved during the early design phase. How do we work together? In short, the architectural building designer puts together a design and once that’s approved by the client the structural engineer’s responsibility is to then calculate the loads, fit the structure to the architecture, decide on what structural systems to use for example steel, masonry, timber and any other materials from which the engineer selects the beams, columns etc that provides the support that dwelling requires. The result is to ensure solid structural integrity whilst also providing solutions to help you keep construction costs at an efficient rate. Our network of consultants ensures that we work within a strong and collaborative team that you can trust to make the process for you easier. We have it all sorted and you’re not required to outsource anyone if you don’t want to.

CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION

Our contract administration service will aim to alleviate the pressure that comes with the process of engaging a builder and the duration that follows the build right till completion. Our primary role here is to advocate for our clients during this stage which involves:

• Assisting in the preparation of a building contract.
• Identify any issues, missing details and any disadvantages of the building contract based on the scope of work it relates to and negotiate the terms and clauses.
• Assisting in drafting the scope of work and procurement schedules.
• Issuing variations.
• Managing time extensions.
• Processing progress claims.
• Overseeing detailed design and shop drawings.
• Co-ordinating and attending site meetings and providing technical expertise if required.

COMMERCIAL & RETAIL DESIGN

Our team has a strong understanding of the parameters and requirements involved in undertaking small or large projects in the commercial, hospitality and retail industries. Our aim is to identify our clients’ needs and understand their business so we can create a space that will thrive in todays competitive market through functional, cost effective and aesthetic design. We work collaboratively with our clients’ from the initial concept drawings phase right through to detailed construction drawings to develop an interior fit out that will meet and exceed all expectations.
